1. What stays on your phone

Your files, every row in them, and every number the app computes stay on your device. We never upload your file. We have no copy of it and cannot see it. If you delete the app, the files and dashboards on that device are gone.

2. What goes to Anthropic

dash.csv uses Anthropic's Claude models for two things, and only after you allow it on the consent screen:

• Matching columns. We send your column names, a sample of up to 20 rows, and summary stats such as counts and date ranges. Never the full file.
• Answering questions. We send your question, the column names, and the same summary stats. The model returns a plan. Your phone runs the plan and computes the answer. The model never sees the rows.

Anthropic processes this under its commercial terms and does not train its models on it. You can turn AI matching off in Settings and match columns by hand. Questions always use AI.

3. What we keep

If you create an account, we keep your email address, your plan status, and your dashboard layouts (which widgets you chose and how you arranged them, not the data inside them) so your dashboards can follow you to a new phone. We keep purchase records through RevenueCat, and Apple, Google, or Stripe hold your payment details. We never see your card number.

We keep basic usage data such as which screens are used and when errors happen, tied to a random device ID, to fix bugs and improve the app. We do not use a third-party analytics service. If that changes, we update this policy first.

4. What we never do

We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not track you across other apps or websites. We do not read your files. We do not send you marketing email unless you ask for it.

5. Your choices

You can delete your account from the Account screen. That removes your email, your synced layouts, and your purchase link to us within 30 days. Your subscription itself is with Apple, Google, or Stripe, so cancel it there too. You can export every dashboard as a PDF at any time. To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, write to hello@dashcsv.com.

6. Children

dash.csv is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

7. Changes and contact

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Questions go to hello@dashcsv.com. dash.csv is run by Josh Estrada.

8. The waitlist on dashcsv.com

If you join the waitlist, we keep your email address, the time you joined, the page that sent you to us if your browser shares it, and the tag in the link you used, such as ?ref=x, in a database on Cloudflare. We also keep a one-way hash of your IP address to limit repeat sign-ups. We cannot turn the hash back into your IP address.

We send two emails through Cloudflare: a confirmation when you join, and one email when the app launches with your launch deal code if you qualify. We do not send anything else. Email hello@dashcsv.com and we delete your entry.

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sets no cookies and does not track you across other sites.
